Publix Trip - FUN FUN :-)

Share
I headed to Publix tonight for diapers. Made a game plan ahead of time to try and get the cost down as low as possible. It worked! I spent $1.11 and got:

Minus the empty water jug in the background ;)

This is a breakdown:

Milkbone Treats were $3.69B1G1 - (1) B1G1 insert coupon = FREE

(2) Pillsbury Ready to bake cookie dough 2 for $5, - (2) $1.50/1 Printables= $2.00

(4) whisker Lickin treats by PURINA x $1.17each - (4) $2.50/1 coupons = $5.32 OVERAGE

(2) Post Cereals $4.19 B1G1 - (2) $2/1 IP's = .19

(4) Kelloggs Pop Tarts x $2.39B1G1 - (4) $.75/1 Target IPs & (2).55/1 & (1)$1/2 = .32 Overage

(1) Publix Brand Diapers $7.99 (no coupon)

(1) $5 competitor coupon

Total: .04

Tax $1.07

2 things to add, the bread was given to me by a bagger (not a publix bread, he brought it to me from home) AND the post cereal does NOT match the coupon because....I went over to CS desk first to ask if I could get a raincheck for the post trail mix, showed the CS the coupon I wanted to use. He told me they didnt carry it but I could select a different POST cereal b/c I shop there so much he would "over ride it" if my cashier had an issue! IT PAYS TO GET TO KNOW YOUR C.S., CASHIERS, AND YOUR BAGGERS!!!! :-)
