iTouchless Robot Vacuum....Dyson....Roomba

Share
After I posted about my new Swivel Sweeper (that I still LOVE!!) I received a few emails about the Roomba.  I love the idea of a Roomba, and would love to try it out, but for $300+  YIKES!  I came across the iTouchless Robotic Intelligent Vacuum Cleaner PRO a few hours ago and it's priced much lower  (Was $259, now on sale for $124.94 at AMAZON with FREE Shipping)
So, what's your opinion on these automatic "robot" vacuums??? I am in desperate need of a new, reliable vacuum that can keep up with a house full of kids.  Do these work?  Or should I keep saving up for a Dyson...

  4. I'd say Dyson. My friend has a roomba & swears by it...but honestly, it doesn't look like it works that great :)

  5. I love my Roomba so much that I'd do a commercial for it! I use it mostly in the bedrooms where I can close the door. It does a great job, especially under the bed and furniture where I would never get around to vacuuming. That said, the Roomba does not entirely replace a regular vacuum for very deep cleaning, but I use my Roomba far more often than I use my "big" vacuum.

  6. I love my Roomba! It goes around chair legs, under my bed, under the coffee table, all without my help. It does tend to break but the warranty from Roomba.com is wonderful. I've had three Roombas. I bought my last Roomba from a shop at home TV deal (can't remember). I wouldn't do that again. It's not made as well as what I had gotten from Roomba.com I use my Roomba daily. A different room or two a day. Right now, my 3 yr. old Roomba is awaiting a new battery ($80!) and is sadly collecting dust....
