What's YOUR Favorite Deal or Freebie?

This past weekend I received a full homeschool curriculum in the mail. I began homeschooling in November, I pulled together some workbooks and borrowed books to get started, but I really wanted a full curriculum. If you homeschool you know that it's not cheap!! Our family chose Switched on Schoolhouse and Our Fathers World. SOS for my oldest and the younger ones will be doing My Fathers World together. Why am I posting this? Because I received Switched on Schoolhouse without paying a penny out of pocket!

How?? I saved up Swagbucks! The above program was a little over $300 on Amazon. I used my swagbucks to purchase $50 & $25 & $5 Amazon gift cards, saved them up, and was able to get the full 5 subject set shipped. This is the reason I love Swagbucks so much!! If you are wondering why I always post when codes are available and reminders to SEARCH, this is the reason. I want all my readers to be able to get free gift cards & goodies too. Many of you were able to use Swagbucks to pay for part of Christmas. We still have 9 months til Christmas, so if you're not a member of Swagbucks- be sure to sign up and start saving now! I have a mini-tutorial to get you started here: Swagbucks 101
**If you do decide to sign up for Swagbucks- email me and let me know so I can add you to my code-alert email**

I love to hear what YOU were able to score SUPER CHEAP or free with coupons, swagbucks, survey sites, and giveaways. I'm going to be installing our new curriculum today so I won't be posting as much as usual. So, I thought it would be a good time to hear from YOU. Leave a comment on your favorite freebie or deal that you've received since you have started couponing.

It's inspiring to the newbies and keeps the rest of us motivated!

  1. how fun. I won a refrigerator from an online blog. i went from never winning a thing to that.

Other than that, just saving over $150 a week on groceries now has helped us save for a down payment on a house. (I have been couponing for 2yrs)

  2. That is a hard question. I have received so much. I would have to say the $100 worth of clothing I got from Old Navy for only $25. (I used the $75 off $100) and the clothing was worth even more bcause I chose all clearance stuff. Its hard to get clothing deals.
