What is Ebates?

I Posted all about Ebates a few months back, reposting it because today would be a GREAT DAY to join! You will save tons more on all the Cyber Monday deals if you belong to Ebates. I will repost my Shop at Home link in a few as well so you can compare!


What is Ebates?

Many people don't realize that internet retailers pay a kickback to sites that send shoppers to their site. So, let's say you search for a store through GOOGLE SEARCH, that site(GOOGLE) will get some kickback, usually 2-5% of whatever you purchase. Ebates gives you a way to get some of that money back!!

How it works?

First, sign up. It's fast, painless, easy! You automatically earn $5 in your account once you sign up. After you sign up, you can shop through the site! There are literally HUNDREDS of stores to choose from (including Ebay!) There are two ways to save money on ebates. One way is to earn a rebate on your internet purchases. Rebates from most participating stores are in the 2-6% range. A few stores pay back even more. For example, some magazine sites may rebate as much as 25%.

The other way ebates saves you money is to offer coupons. Some stores don't have rebates but simply give you money off at the time of purchase. If a store listing on ebates has a little coupon tag next to the store name, click on the coupon to see what it offers. Happily, some stores offer both coupons and rebates so you can maximize your savings.

The most important thing to remember is that you MUST CLICK THROUGH Ebates FIRST! Go to Ebates, search for the store you want, click on it and shop. If you LEAVE the store site and go back later, it will not know you clicked through Ebates, and you will not be able to earn your % back.

Pretty Simple in my opinion. And, worth it if you shop online even just a little!
