OK OK I DID go to KMart after all! But, this time, I brought only a handful of coupons - knowing that the 2 ladies would be there that fill up 2 carts each and go through the line multiple times a day (clearing every shelf at KMarts in Volusia & Seminole County). I was pleasantly surprised that they were nowhere in sight. I did meet some VERY FRIENDLY couponers (Hi Girls!!) and a few couponing men too! Apparently- the 2 over-indulging ladies were told the limit is 10 coupons per person per day and stormed out of Kmart, attempted another area KMart and were told the SAME thing! (THANK YOU Kmart!!!!!!!!!) Now, the rest of us can get back to shopping as usual!Here is what I got:
(2) Hartz Crunch Dog Treats
(2) Secret Deodorants
(6) Propels
(2) Kraft BBQ sauce
Detergent (no coupon)
Listerine Total Care
4 packs of cookies
Total after tax was .79
Yes, I did use more than 10 coupons. The cashiers were very nice in allowing more than 10 as long as you did not go overboard (I had about 16 coupons)
I headed to one more KMart (looking for Ziplocs) and met a few more Friendly couponers that were only there because they heard the two women that empty the shelves were finally gone! lol
Second KMart:
(4) Ziploc Sandwich Bag boxes
(1) Hartz Dog Treats
(2) Deodorants
(1) Wheat Thins
(3) propels
total was just under $1

ReplyDeleteI was there today.I wonder if I passed you.I got about 35.00 worth of stuff and paid $7.00.One item was hair color and I only got $4.00 off so I had to pay the other $4.00.Darlene

ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that! I am a newbie and was totally thrown off asking myself what I was doing wrong, since my cart was not full like their cart! Yes, thank you KMART!! Fair is fair!
