Coupon issues !

Share
I did a little shopping tonight. First stop was Walmart:

7 pints Breyers Ice Cream x $1.53= $10.71
used (7) $1.50 coupons (publix booklet) = .21

1 Cottonelle 4pk x $1 = $1.00
used (1) $1/1 coupons.com printable = FREE

4 Frosted mini-wheats x $2 = $8.00
used (4) $1/1 from Vocal Point mailer = $4.00

Total: $4.21 + tax
** ALL of the Breyers coupons beeped! I have no clue WHY, since it says "any" on the coupon....the register said "item not found", but the cashier pushed them through**

Second stop: Winn Dixie

(2) Ball Park Franks, Bogo $2.99
Used (1) $1/2 from 5/17 insert = $1.99

(2) Sara Lee Hot dog buns $1.99BOGO
Used (1) free buns when you buy 2 ball park franks FREE

(4) Kraft BBQ sauce x .88 = $3.52
(1) $1/1 printable-coupons.com and (3) $.75/1 insert = .27

Paid $2.26 and got back a $2 off your next purchase coupon!

** The FREE Sara Lee coupon did not work either! The register would NOT accept it. However, the cashier pushed that through too, I have no clue why it wouldn't work**
The $1/1 worked FINE-no beeps on the bbq sauce!!

I had planned to head to Publix for more cheese and ritz, but after those two trips, i was done and didn't feel like anymore coupon issues!

  1. I love Breyers ice-cream and am willing to pay full price. Breyers is the only item that I am brand loyal to.

I settled for Edy's this week. It is $2.50 at Publix and I used some $2 off coupons which made them $0.50 ea.

Not as great as the Breyers deal you had. I hope I find some of theos $1.50 off Breyers coupons. I hope your stare has the 12pk Dr. Peppers too. We will do the deal one more time so that we don't need to buy soda when we are on vacation in June.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  2. It might be because you tried stacking it with the $1/2 hotdog coupon. In Publix the girl didn't want to use mine together because she said the hotdogs were required for the buns so you couldn't use a coupon on them. I am starting to think we really aren't supposed to stack coupons like that. I had a coupon beep at Walmart once that I stacked like that. I think there it was a bacon coupon and biscuit coupons that gave me trouble. I think when the register checks for the items it bundles them all together for the bun coupon and then when you try to scan the hotdog coupon it beeps because they are already tagged for the buns.
