Do you have a favorite cashier at Walgreens??
Walgreens is celebrating Earth Day (Wednesday, April 22nd) with a Friends & Family discount. Ask your favorite cashier for a Friends & Family card and receive a 15% in-store discount, a 20% discount on Walgreens brands, and a free reusable shopping tote (valid on 04/22/09 only). If you don't have a favorite cashier, ask the manager if they have extra.
I heard about this a few days ago. I went in to my Walgreens yesterday, and the cashier was handing them out to everyone. I asked my fave cashier (Hi Kahlin!!) what the deal was? She said, her manager decided to cut them out and hand them out to every customer until they ran out of coupons. He stamped the store number/city on it, this way everyone would be sure to come to his Walgreens. Smart marketing :)
This is not the case with all the stores. Most of the stores will only give a sheet of coupons to their employees. Then, the employees can give them out to the people they choose. Good Luck!!!
